Denmark, is a country in the Scandinavian region of northern Europe. It is the southernmost of the Nordic countries.

Skilled Immigration (Danish Green Card)
If you belong to professions which are under the pay limit scheme you may be eligible for a Danish Green Card. This initially has a validity of 3 years. If your profession is not in this list, you may still stand a chance of moving on a one year Green Card.An applicant must hold Bachelors degree followed by atleast one-year Masters degree OR a two-year Masters degree. Some conditions are laid as follows:
You must be prepared to appear for IELTS.
You must hold minimum 3 to 5 years experience in the occupation mentioned in the Positive List of Denmark immigration authorities.
You must have capacity to show the financial sufficiency of minimum INR 7,00,000/- for a single individual and around INR 11,00,000/- for a family.
Those who have graduated from University of Delhi or IIT-Delhi, Mumbai, Kanpur and Chennai stand to gain more bonus points.
Business Immigration
Denmark offers one year residence and work permit for persons who are self employed, score a hundred points on the point scale and belong to professions which are under the pay limit scheme.

In some cases, the Immigration Service may grant you a residence permit for a preparatory course to a higher educational program. The following conditions apply:
The preparatory course must be connected to the higher educational program, and the course must be a requirement for the completion of the program.
You must already have been accepted at the educational program to which the preparatory course is connected.
The duration of the preparatory course must be no more than one year.
Duration --- The duration of your residence permit depends on whether you are going to complete an entire educational program, or only follow part of a program as a guest student;If you are to complete an entire program you will be granted a residence permit for the duration of the program;If, on the other hand, you are only to follow part of a program, the residence permit will be granted for the duration of the part you are to follow, with a maximum of two years;If you are to follow a preparatory course, your residence permit will be granted for the duration of the course. It is a condition for the residence permit that you are active and enrolled in the educational program. If this is not the case, the Immigration Service can revoke your residence permit. The educational institution is obliged to inform the Immigration Service if you are not actively following the educational program.
